Memorial Day Flag Activity
On Saturday, May 29, 2010 , the Boy Scouts will continue in a rich tradition and pay tribute to the men and women who served our country by placing an American flag at each of the 140,000 graves at the Golden Gate National Cemetery. This is a worthwhile experience and our troop had a good turnout last year and it would be great if we could do so again. Then on June 5th, Scouts volunteer to go back to the Cemetery to remove the flags. Contact Karen S. for more information.
